The sole studio album by American rock band Box Car Racer was recorded over the course of six weeks in late 2001 and released May 21, 2002. Barker and DeLonge wrote the songs together DeLonge would decide what key he would sing the song in, and Barker would mostly arrange the song, toying with its structure and tempotime signature. Travis changed his drumming style for the recording of this album, its a totally different approach to the drums there are, like, jazzy bridges. Its so much more open and roomy.
